Vocational Training Institute

This amazing 10 year old project, from nothing and through the war, has evolved into Liberia's most respected vocational training institute in IT and Business Management, Accounting and Secretarial Science.

 4,880 pupils have graduated.

8:1 success rate of graduates moving directly into employment.

An exceptional success rate in post war environment where 85% unemployment exists.

268 of these have been male and female ex-combatants.

Graduates are employed by private institutions like Banks and accounting firms, non-government organizations or are self employed.

This work has been at a juncture for the last few years.

Restricted resources, due to increasing demand for courses and services and the need to build more operational infrastructure, has created great pressure.

To keep pace with the advances in Liberia and Monrovia since the end of the war in 2003, we are planning for the significant requirement for inward investment in this project.

Increased operational space, practical resources, leadership recruitment and management development is all essential.

This will increase sustainability and resource the opening of other sustainable vocational training institutes' in Projects Planned across Liberia.
