Building Sustainable Micro Enterprise

In April 2008 our Liberian Partners requested we deliver the first  2 day workshop on Personal and Community Sustainability in Monrovia and Buchanan, Liberia's primary cities.

These workshops being delivered were oversubscribed with more than 350 delegates, some walking up to 30 miles to attend.

We are set to continue the development and roll out of these workshops to aid the launch of a Micro Business pilot to10% of our initial 327 candidates during 2009 -2010.

Such development and employment opportunities are essential for security: if large sections of the community do not have a livelihood, they will remain vulnerable to violence or instability.

You could be part of making this happen through Giving and seeing hundreds of Liberians earning their own income and in their own business. What an achievement that will be.
