Establishing UK Operational Team

Establishing UK Operations

Current Status: For 16 years, in the UK, a faithful group of volunteers have sought to meet the life supporting and developmental needs of our friends and colleagues in Liberia.

2 years ago it was clearly seen that this could no longer be sustained, the need for a dedicated organisation and team to facilitate the future developmental opportunities was essential.

Objective: Last Quarter of 2008 we are looking to secure an initial 3 year funding stream to establish UK operations and small primary delivery team to facilitate, resource and help deliver the Liberian projects and required human development programmes.

Mid-term, to evaluate transition of projects and human resource development both in Liberia and UK, projecting a delivery strategy accordingly as to how to accomplish desired sustainable ends.

If you feel you would wish to help fund this financial requirement, please either go to Giving

Volunteer Overseas Project Teams

Overseas Volunteer Project Teams

Current status: Social and spiritual capital, which is the institutional and relational in unison with the moral and spiritual aspects of society are key, we believe, to the success we have both seen achieved to date in Liberia but most importantly to the potential  success of all enterprises and socio-economic development of the future.

Objective: Through the development of innovative and quality instruction and orienteering we aim to channel peoples concern about the 'Global Community' to equip volunteer overseas project teams to take their professional skill sets into a post-war environment with the objective of building 'Community to Community' relationships in new directions that will deliver tangible and sustainable improvements, Social Integration and genuine opportunities for all involved.

Practical Aid

Container April 2008

Status: We have sent over 23 containers of Practical Aid to Liberia, before, during and since the end of the war in 2003.

In a nation where 14 years of civil war stripped the country bare, this practical equipping of projects, communities and enterprises is essential.

Objective: To develop stronger links with existing Partners while building new partnerships and associations with other international aid agencies and NGO’s, companies, communities and individuals.

This will enable the increased sourcing of all the equipment for our Liberian Projects and Container Shopping List.
