About us
A New Charity For A New Chapter -
June 2008
We can impact 1/3rd of the Liberian population...

...through our indigenous social, church and educational partnership networks and sustainable Liberian owned projects.
We are now aiming to build on our foundation of 18 years of intimate involvement in this country and deep relationship with its people, who are now rising from the ashes of tragic civil war to a future with great possibilities.
April 2008: A three-person delegation from Oxfordshire, UK visited Liberia in order to evaluate the projects and works of Isaac and Philipson, two pioneering Liberian leaders in the community.
These Liberian men and their projects have been supported and resourced for over 15 years, through personal relationship with Rev. Phil Cheale and volunteer support from Peppard Congregational Church (of which Phil was minister, retiring in August 2008), and the local community, in South Oxfordshire,UK .
We needed to consider whether there was the need for future involvement within this war-torn country and projects. If so, was there a vision for the future and for the next generation of potential leadership to take it forward?
The conclusion was clear: Yes, we have a unique opportunity to build on a deep foundation of acclaimed indigenous work that is giving hope and future opportunities to thousands of Liberians; and the future potential is quite staggering!
